Architect Job Description:

HNW Architects are looking for talented and enthusiastic Architects with a minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience to join both our Brighton and Chichester studios to work on a variety of exciting projects from inception through to completion and become part of a dynamic and sociable team.

HNW is a collaborative architecture practice that is renowned for intelligent contextual design.  The practice has an extensive portfolio that embraces a rich and varied range of projects, with a particular in-depth understanding of sectors including education, residential, commercial, retail, leisure and industrial.

Ideal candidates will have:
• A RIBA Part 3 qualification/ ARB registration.
• Client facing experience, enthusiastic, and have the ability to lead or play a significant role in a team.
• A good drawing hand and an eye for detail.
• Strong design, communication presentation and graphic skills are essential.
• The capability to collaborate and to innovate.
• A good working knowledge of Revit would be beneficial.

Applicants should have a flair for design and experience working on high-quality projects demonstrated through a portfolio of work, demonstrating their ability to contribute to the design ethos of the practice.

Architectural Technologist Description:

HNW Architects are looking for talented and enthusiastic Architectural Technologists with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to join both our Brighton and Chichester studios to work on a variety of exciting projects from inception through to completion and become part of a dynamic and sociable team.

HNW is a collaborative architecture practice that is renowned for intelligent contextual design.  The practice has an extensive portfolio that embraces a rich and varied range of projects, with a particular in-depth understanding of sectors including education, residential, commercial, retail, leisure and industrial.

HNW are driven by the ethos “to create a sustainable social legacy”.

Ideal candidates will have:
• CIAT Qualification (would be desirable)
• Client facing experience, enthusiastic, and have the ability to lead or play a significant role in a team.
• The ability produce accurate technical drawings working as part of a team
• The skills to collate, organise, investigate and produce technical information for use during the development of project design.
• The capability to collaborate and to innovate, as well as strong presentation and communication skills.
• Revit proficiency (Autocad and NBS Chorus desirable)

Applicants should have experience working on high-quality projects demonstrated through a portfolio of work, demonstrating their ability to contribute to the ethos of the practice.

We have studios based in Chichester and Brighton offering flexible means to work and collaborate.

Our impressive Chichester studio offers an open plan working environment in the centre of the city, adjacent to Priory park, with excellent access to the historic town. Our Chichester studio is minutes walk away from a large public car park, we also have secure bicycle parking with onsite showers and are just 5 minutes walk away from both bus and train stations.

Our studio in Brighton is based in Brighton and Hove’s largest independent co-working community of businesses and creative entrepreneurs, known for its lively and collaborative culture. The studio is conveniently located to access the many benefits that the city has to offer and is well served by a variety of public transport and a short walk from the train station.

The right personality is as important as your experience, we want to find someone who can become part of the office and bring something new to HNW. We are a sociable practice and regularly get involved with local events, as well as internal office activities.
