Conservation Area

Conservation area design is most successful when the special features or character of an area are fully understood and embraced.

A significant part of this relies on successful engagement with and involvement of local and regional key stakeholders.

These might be advisory bodies, guardian authorities (such as the South Downs National Park) and of course local residents.

To support any scheme, our knowledge of key policies at local, regional and national levels is fundamental to success in understanding and maximising potential towards development approval and delivery on site.

Our schemes embrace this attitude of wide participation, resulting is successful and interesting schemes (but contemporary and more traditional) which enhance their precious surroundings.
