The other day we had Oliver Heath present on behalf of interface a CPD exploring the WELL Building Standard. The CPD introduced the process and contents of the WELL Building Standard, helping us to understand how to approach this emerging human centered commercial standard. Three case studies were used to demonstrate how this new standard can be implemented into the workplace and into future projects.
As a Practice we found this CPD incredibly interesting, exploring the costs associated with delivering health and well-being, how we can create a business case for taking a human centered approach, how we can present this to clients and understanding what aspects need to be considered when looking at health and well-being in the built environment. We enjoyed look at how design services and creative thinking can benefit health and well-being in the built environment.
