The new £9m Facility to provide CCBH with a state of the art Construction Skills centre in Brighton, at their Wilson Avenue Campus, has been handed over. The works were completed by Osborne Construction and provide a flexible variety of spaces for teaching trade and construction skills to help tackle skills shortages and explore new Construction Technologies.

HNW 25th Anniversary Celebration

Thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate a huge milestone for HNW, our first 25 years…

We had a fantastic evening and hope all of our guests and partners did also. It was great to see new and old faces, pictures of Ken from 25 years ago and share with you where we see the future.

The party was a great snapshot in time along HNW’s journey, with you all!

HNW’s infamous Dodgeball Team took to the floor again for the annual charity event by AECOM, which this year was to raise money for the S.C.R.A.T.C.H Charity; ‘Southampton City and Regional Action to Combat Hardship’, provides services which relieve the effects of hardship, disadvantage and poverty for individuals and families living in Southampton and surrounding areas.

A great afternoon was had by all and despite coming home with the Trophy last year, we decided it was best to let someone else have a turn this year…!


Segro Park Bracknell

Segro Park Bracknell Phase 1: Site Progress

Work is progressing quickly on site at Segro Park Bracknell.

This photo shows the first week of the steel frame erection for the first 90,000sqft Unit for the redevelopment of the former BMW Headquarters site in Bracknell.

Phase 2 includes a further 90,000sqft split over two separate units.

Future phases include plans for a further 150,000sqft development with Hotel/ Leisure uses also.

Crawley Jaguar Land Rover: Handover

The new flagship site for Harwoods Group has been completed and handed over on Manor Royal in Crawley. This new state-of-the art facility will enable Harwoods to relocate from their existing, split site facility elsewhere on Manor Royal and display the full Jaguar and Land Rover ranges side-by-side in a building that meets the latest requirements of the JLR Brand.

The building includes an enclosed three-lane Service Drive-Through / Drop-off facility to enable customers to drive right into the building and pick up their courtesy car internally.

Ashford College Campus

Site Progress: Rotunda Cladding Revealed

Exciting photos of the spectacular cladding to the feature Rotunda at the main entrance of the new Ashford College campus, designed by HNW Architects and on site with BAM Construction.

The redevelopment involves construction of a new General Teaching Block containing Refectory, Labs, Hair & Beauty Salons, Art & Media Studios. This will include a link to enable the future construction of the next Phase, a ‘Construction and Technology Block’.

The campus will be located in the town centre close to the main rail station and good bus links. It will replace the existing facilities located a mile from the town centre, with an improved learning environment to support more than 700 students. The college will focus on providing skills for the manufacturing, construction and service sectors, with a mix of further education and higher education courses, apprenticeships and skill-based courses.

Chichester College is a college of further education in Chichester, West Sussex offering full time and part time courses in a variety of areas.

As the latest part of the hnw designed master plan for the site. The project comprises a new single storey extension along with extensive refurbishment to the ground floor, providing the college with 3 new training kitchens, catering facilities, coffee bar, bistro and a Silver Service restaurant.

The works vastly improve the college’s teaching amenities and infrastructure; complimenting the range of culinary courses that the college currently offer.

The works were carried out with Amiri Construction as main contractor.
